Ruby Elene Wheeler was born in Lookout, Oklahoma on February 23, 1927 to Chris and Nora Knabe and passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016 at the age of 88. A resident of the Watonga and Hitchcock communities most of her life, she attended school in Freedom, Oklahoma. She married Bluford Wheeler on September 24, 1942 in Buffalo, Oklahoma. She was proceeded in death by her parents and one son, Doug Wheeler. Ruby is survived by three sons: Rich, Albert and B.J. Wheeler, four daughters: Frances Phelps, Gladys Cook, Ruby Cassidy and Tina Baker, seventeen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. No services are scheduled for Ruby Wheeler. Wilkinson Mortuary is in charge of the cremation services.
