Funeral service for Orlene Ruth Sisson, 89 year old Watonga, Oklahoma resident will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in Trinity Baptist Church in Watonga, Oklahoma with Rev. Gil Gilliland officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery southeast of Fay, Oklahoma, under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home of Thomas. Orlene Ruth was born to Jake and Adeline (Spahn) Weinmeister on September 1, 1927 in Okeene, Oklahoma and passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016 at Corn Heritage Village in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Orlene was raised in the Okeene area and attended school at Model Rural School, River Dale Rural and graduated from Watonga High School, in 1944. After high school she worked for Hobrecht Insurance. She married Rueben Sisson in Enid, Oklahoma where they made their home north of Fay. She worked for the ASC Soil Conservation Office, retiring in 1982 and did relief work as Post Master in Fay, Oklahoma. Orlene enjoyed working puzzle and working in her own Commercial Green House. Memorials may be made to the Charity of your Choice. She is survived by two sons, Mitchell Sisson and his wife, Daisy of Fay, Oklahoma and Steve Sisson and his wife, Shannon of St. Roberts, Missouri; two daughters, Sharon Kay Lee and her husband, Larry of Watonga, Oklahoma and Janet Bailey of Fay, Oklahoma; 14 grandchildren; 45great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Don Weinmeister and his wife, Phyllis of Hillman, Minnesota and Gerald Weinmeister and his wife, Sue of Bethany, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Adeline Weinmeister; husband, Reuben; one brother, Lloyd.
