Curtis Ray Vining, Sr. 1947~2016

Curtis Ray Vining, Sr. was born September 13, 1947, in Fort Worth, Texas and was called home August 1, 2016. Curtis served his country honorably in both the Army and National Guard. His bravery during the Vietnam war earned him a Vietnam Service Medal, a Vietnam Campaign Medal, two overseas bars and many other medals. He served as an Army Medic saving and helping anyone he could. He rode on a sheriff volunteer posse dedicated to principles of good law enforcement, as a way to give back to his community. His passion was horses which he rode and showed. Curtis is proceeded in death by his father, WB Boone, mother, Elsie Marie Tisby and daughter, Angela Vining. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife and best friend Becky Vining, two sons Curtis Jr and Robert Parker, four daughters Vicki Johnson, Crista Vining, Charita Vining and Amy Scruggs, sister, Brenda Young, brother Lawrence Eugene Vining and a multitude of other brothers and sisters.
