Naomi Mae Sinclair 1936~2016

Naomi Mae Sinclair was born November 5, 1936 at Watonga, Oklahoma to James Ira and Jewell Ethel (Nelson) Coody and passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at the age of 80. She was a resident of the Watonga community most her life where she was a homemaker while her children were young. As her children became older she began working at Tom Morgan’s Law Office and the Watonga Light and Water Office for her friend Leroy Lage. She worked at numerous other places in the Watonga and Greenfield area, so much that she was affectionately referred to as a “Kelly Girl” by her husband Jim. Naomi also had an independent income tax service out of her home for several years. She graduated from Watonga High School and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Watonga. Naomi married James “Jim” Sinclair at Enid, Oklahoma on May 20, 1961. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father; Perry Gorby, one son; Greg, favorite brother in law; Bill Butler, as well as numerous other family members. Naomi is survived by her husband Jim of the home in Watonga, OK. Two daughters: Becky Barrett and husband Tim of Vancouver, WA. Deedra Bixler and husband Brad of Watonga, OK., One sister: Vera Butler of Weatherford, OK., Four grandchildren: Cody Long and wife Aubrey of Cleburne, TX., Eric DeMoss ad wife Holly of Tulsa, OK., Kara Karns of Norman, OK., Kaitlin Wells and husband Jeff of Norman, OK., Two great grandchildren: Ashlyn Long and Davin DeMoss as well as many friends and relatives. Funeral services for Naomi were held Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Watonga with burial following in the IO.O.F. Cemetery in Watonga. Memorial contributions may be to made the First United Methodist Church of Watonga.
