Luvertis A. Robinson 1918~2016

Luvertis A. Robinson was born on April 10, 1918 to Ira Gray and Minnie (Taylor) Gray in Bridgeport, OK. On June 12, 1934, Luvertis Gray married Howard B. Robinson and lived in Carlton, OK before moving to their permanent residence of Watonga, OK. At an early age, Luvertis gave her life to Jesus Christ and was faithful to the service of the Lord. She transferred her membership to Beulahland Church of God in Christ in Geary, OK. and served as Mother of the church, Powerhouse Church of God in Christ in Watonga, before her death. During their marriage, 5(five) children were born. Phyllis Walker, Norma Jean Walker, Doris Becton, Roger Robinson and Clayborn Robinson. Luvertis worked many years at Star Motel before working as a Nanny and Housekeeper to Bill and Cynthia Schwab in Enid, OK. She returned back to Watonga, worked at Hi-De-Ho Restaurant before working with Opportunity (DHS) in the Well Baby Clinic as a clerk for many years before retiring. Luvertis is survived by her daughter Norma Jean Walker and her son Roger Robinson. Luvertis is preceded in death by her husband Howard Robinson, daughter Phyllis Walker, Doris Baren and son Clayborn Robinson.
